Ultimately, we strive to provide advanced in vitro diagnostic
capabilities for analyzing cell-material interactions and drug
discovery as well as innovative bioreactor solutions for
the future of regenerative medicine. Initial intellectual property was derived from
the academic research efforts of the two co-founders, Orr and
Gevaert, while working
in conjunction with Dr. Karen Burg, Hunter Endowed Chair
and Professor of Bioengineering at Clemson University.
KIYATEC lab-based
technology provides more accurate simulation of phenomenon
inherent within the living systems of the body.
Accurate modeling of these dynamic conditions provides
opportunity for advanced medical treatments and enhanced
diagnostics that will benefit society through the
resulting improvements in healthcare and its associated
costs.
