KIYATEC was founded in 2005 with a corporate mission to commercialize novel 3D cell culture technology developed in the laboratories of the Department of Bioengineering at Clemson University.  Guided by the company's underlying principle of renewing life through advanced technology, KIYATEC personnel work to deliver enabling 3D cell culture tools for the pharmaceutical, biomedical and life science industries.  These efforts will ultimately provide scientists, engineers and clinicians with advanced in vitro models for improved understanding in cell and systems biology, biomaterial development, drug discovery, and clinical diagnosis.

KIYATEC is working diligently at its Greenville, South Carolina offices and laboratories to develop 3D cell culture technology that provides more accurate simulation of phenomenon inherent within the living systems of the body.  Accurate modeling of these dynamic conditions provides opportunity for enhanced diagnostics and advanced medical treatments that will benefit society through the resulting improvements in healthcare and its associated costs.
